(those who talk to me recently will know, i’ve been proclaiming it.) if singapore’s ever going to have a genocide, it’d be most probably be started by me. yup. (: after close to three weeks of torture, i’m finally gonna be done with my prelims on wed! (who blogs about prelims ending when it hasnt even ended yet man!) haha. oh well, have 4 days to study for CLL, before the horror is over! gonna go watch f1 tmr! yay yay yay! free tickets again!

thank you thank you guys so much for the surprise bday party! (: super duper shocked la, omg. i seriously didnt suspect anything can! haha pokxy just asked me to go out with her on tuesday, and so we met at dhoby gaught, and we walked around like mad, then she brought me to build a bear!! OMG OMG OMG. haha i built a turtle instead. seriously thought that was it, cause i was super duper contended already! supposed to come back to my house to look at photos and yearbooks and slack around. and then that girl, even before we had lunch at dohby, hurry up chased me home la! was complaining alllllllllll the way about lunch, and then my sister called to ask whether we wanted mcdelievery haha (: she rocks. so we placed our orders, and then happily went home!
omg. when i was walking under my void deck, suddenly saw a lot of post-its that said like “for sale #09-1257″ (which is my house unit number!) and something like “i know we both use the same notes!” and “pearlyn loves to pole dance” WTH HAHA post-its ALL OVER THE PLACE. and they form a trail from my lift to my door step. scary ttm. so i asked pokxy “omg who did you invite?” and she was like “nothing! you see la, nothing!” haha opened my house door, saw streamers with the words “happy birthday”, a pinata hanging around and like BUFFET?!?!? but nobody! hahaa, open my room door, and then everybody scremed at my face. omg i wanted to cry. (: so touching! thank you thank you! but what was more shocking, was that the people were like my close friends from all over the place! taiwan, eclub, crescent eclub, games gang, super shocking cause its like huh?!?! where’s the link la, how they collaborate one! haha sad that some people culdnt make it, like my sa friends and classmates! but it’s okay! still had super duper a lot of fun. (: they made my hit the pinata blindfolded until all the sweets dropped out, haha but i no strength so my sister had to help me instead. (hope the video’s not on youtube, super embarassing!) and in the pinata was like many letters from my close pals who were unable to come (like my roomies and taiwan pals!!). haha even better, they hid even more letters in my room and asked me to go and dig it up myself! then everyone started flooding my with presents omg. scary. but THANK YOU THANK YOU (:
this is like the best birthday ever, thank you guys so much! never had a birthday party before in my entire life, and this is truly a surprise man, just like what i’ve always wanted! I’m so freaking stressed out for chinese lit. first time crying because of academics today, what is this.
got told that my expression sucks and basically my language cannot make it. it’s like the teacher gave us the essay outline, and all we had to do was to give examples, and yet i couldnt do it. everyone got 15/20 and above when i got only 5/20. and it’s not for one essay, its for 2. he said, the only way out of this is to memorise. how to? when it’s like one whole play, 3 acts, about 20 characters, 34729347 characteristics, and that is only 1/6 of 1/2 of my chinese lit syllabus.
dont remind me bout history and econs because i havent touched them yet.
and then it sucks to know that my teacher is leaving during prelims, so that means that i have to clear every freaking doubt before that, and i’m only left with tomorrow, wed, thurs and next fri. stupid teachers day, what a weird time. was thinking of like totally banking these 2 precious weeks i have left on this 1/6 of my 1/2 of my syllabus, but that is damn stupid. come to think of it, we can never really finish studying. finish this stack of notes, and there’s more waiting. finish this set of questions and you can always find more. like from 2008 you can find questions tracing all the way back to when the syllabus first began, and the question is still applicable today. you feel so incompetent just looking at the amount of work waiting for you. and when i sit down and do the work, my mind just goes blank.
first time feeling this way, and i think im not the only one here. it’s like the a’levels bring out the worst in you. and then, casey’s words comes to my mind, “the a’levels is like the hardest exam in your entire life”, and it’s true. i miss my carefree pae life. ): a05, sa, casey leong, ki, running out of the sch gate when the security guard goes to the toilet, island cremery, ponning lectures and playing cards, waffle from the nice nice stall, ham omelette, ponning pe, spending time together aft sch as a class, laughing at and with ms lee, havoc, and just about everything.
saw the requirements for nus and smu today. if i dont get B for chinese lit, im DEAD. and its a language paper, my language as of today cannot make it, how am i supposed to pass my compo and compre! ):
should just kill myself now. ways to kill yourself: 1) sleep in an aircon car with the engine on (die pretty), 2) jump down (die ugly), 3) stab yourself (ouch, pain), 4) kill someone and get executed (too long a time lag), 5)traffic drugs and get caught (where to find the drugs!), 6) stand in the center of a busy road (will just get sued for obstructing traffic), 6) a’levels (too tortourous).

I think it’s a bad omen, because in the past 2 days, i’ve seen 2 panels of glass break. OMG.
First was in the LEP room, the whole glass window just shattered out of nowhere, i think it’s cause the people downstairs were cutting grass and a rock flew and hit the window. haha, and then the whole window just shattered, quite pretty. (: Informed the teacher who informed the OM who nearly caught me for eating in the room when he came in to check.
And then there’s yesterday, Eclub notice board panel shattered. Really bad sign ah that one. The twins were putting notices in and then trying to pull the glass panel back, then the whole thing crashed onto the floor, and they both just stood there and stare at each other. Luckily no one as hurt. Called the uncle to come and clean up, informed ms wong, wrote down their names and all. I think they were both still in shock la, but one pres and one director leh, must act quickly on your feet! cannot just stone down there and wait for people to come to you okay. (: stupid kenneth kwek didnt even help la, just sit down there and laugh. wth.
yesterday was quite fruitful too. went to meet the math hod, cause he came to class and ask if we got any problem cause tag asked him to. well, we did, but we couldnt say cause someone was staring at us. So after school, went to meet him. Shan’t say what we talked about because someone might be reading this. But let’s just say that it was good! and i can finally see the light at the end of our math tunnel. haha!
Went to united sq to see the lego clearence sale. to note that it was almost sold out, basket.
Im starting to like history, because at least now i can make some sense out of it! haha

LOVE IT. felt like buying so many on the spur of the moment buys, but after limiting myself to $10 then i decided not to. 6. i need some spiritual force to give me a super mega absorbent brain, so that i can remember everything i’ve studied so that i only have to look through them once. either that, or i need doraemon and his incredible machines.
7. DISNEY PIXAR CARTOONS ALWAYS MAKE ME CRY. i cried like 3 times during monsters inc, and twice during finding nemo, i think twice as well for toy story, and once for cars. AND UP MADE ME CRY LIKE 4 or 5 TIMES OMG. ): my new dream: to work in pixar and make people cry.
8. was showering that day, and it came across my mind, how as i grew up, i slowly lost track of all my dreams and what i want to do in the future. to the extent of not knowing what i even want to do now. And then, i went to dig out my sec4 organiser, and saw that i used to want to be a NOBEL PRIZE WINNER OMG. and a PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR and to FLY TO THE MOON. now, they just seem like funny little jokes that i’d realistically laugh over, and brush aside.
9. i dont know what i want to do after A’s.
10. it’s scary to know that, the next 8 weeks WILL DETERMINE the next 8 years of my life. ): i’m so unprepared for the A’s.

Saw the new taiwanese in school today, brought back many memories of the taiwanese that came last year.
Been a year, time passes really fast.
Kindda miss them, and the times we had in taiwan. Can’t really remember much when they were in Singapore though, hanging out with the TJ people, still think that taiwan is so much more fun than Singapore.
Jetstar has a promo to go to taiwan for $205, that’s the cheapest so far. (: Was talking to the roomies about planning a trip to taiwan for all 80 of us and all, but was talking to my mum today, and she said that she might not have the money for me to go. Sigh ): but i’d still try to plan for everyone i hope.
Saw my buddy’s new blog, she emailed my mum but not me ): What’s our friendship coming to. I miss her and her super adorable brother and sister. and the weather in taiwan! (speaking of which, the sky is really blue today)
