1. wordpress has this functions that shows you what searches on google leads to your blog. and surprisingly, it shows the funniest things ever. like people searching for “ann siang hill felt” actually got directed to my blog?!?!

2. dali outing to the flyer was fun! (: shall put the photo here another day. its on facebook if anyone’s interested to see. miss them so much, haha the outing kindda spurred me to plan the year end trip to taiwan.

3. why isnt the government closing school!??! ): DIE. no time to study. (omg vj kids are the luckiest shit ever, why cant tj postpone common test by a week too?!?!)

7. mrt gang outing to fish and co! celebrated juanita and yingliang’s bday. haha they were made to hold the sparklers and the whole restaurant kindda stared at them. super funny (: really miss the carefree life we had, every morning take the same train, then to transfer bus together. every morning sit in the same seat on the bus, and just rant rant bitch bitch and just talk all sorts of things, never ending one. (: life was good.

8. bertha said that i should focus on my studies. haha haven’t even graduate yet, and i already have a whole long list of things to do after A’s. and i’ve decided to change my image! from now on, till the end of A’s, i shall be a mugger. (: and for that, i shall go buy a new mugger bag to fit my mugger image. (already bought a new pencil box from paperchase! haha it’s so sexy im motivated to touch it, so much so that i can just stare at it and not study). crescent pearlyn please come back!

did 2 questions on binomial. dont know why of all chapters to start with, i choose to start on that, and then i realise that i dont know how to do. best. so here i am, blogging, and reading other people’s blogs.

And then, i went for the GP crashcourse thingy today from 10 to 4. wanted to die, it was damn tiring. kept popping sweets and all just to keep myself awake. and then my best friend had to come and terrorise me, leaving me crampy and grouchy for the entire day! ): crashcourse continues tmr, 10 to 4 again. shit or what. and everyone else has started studying already, halfway there or something. and all i’ve ever completed is: one chapter of econs (the GDP one, which is the easiest omg. die), and 2 questions of binomial. WONDER HOW IM GONNA PASS MY COMMON TEST ):

dali outing on thursday! i think out of the 15 of us, 13 can come! yay really cant wait. really hope that we’d be as bonded as we were in taiwan, and the months after that. seriously dont want us to end up like what lincoln said, that after a year, no one will really bother bout dali anymore. maybe can see here and there, but everyone try to put in some effort to maintain the friendship forged k (:

been having weird weird dreams for the past 2 nights. i think i woke up like over 20 times last night, just turn my body and then sleep again. checked the dream interpretator thing, and it said that i should rise up to the occasion. SIGH. ):

last last night: i dreamt that i was sleeping, then my sister came in and flinged this whole bag of bread in front of my face and said “jiejie got ants leh!”, and then all the bread landed on my bed. then i fell back asleep, then the next time i woke up, she came in and went “eh tomorrow eat what”, and i remember replying her “eat bread la!”, and she asked why was the bread “SILKY”, and i actually saw the word bubble come out from her mouth! and then the next time i woke up again, i dreamt that i was in victoria theatre, and edwyna was performing in some church production thingy? but she was wearing chang-er costumes and the set was the huang cheng set. WEIRD.

last night: i dreamt that my little brother (since when did i ever have a brother!) came into my room and told me to change my bedsheet. and i actually did! (in my dream) without complains somemore! the next time i woke up, i dreamt that he told me that my husband was a dementor (from harry potter) and asked me to check it out. and my husband was some negro? GAHH. i’ve a screwed up mind. the next time i woke up, my brother was telling me that yu-gi-oh was very funny or something like that. and then the next time i woke up, i was at the hannah montana concert! urgh, why can’t i have a peaceful sleep? ):

1. Met ms tan today at food for thought. was extremely late (sorry!). Good to meet her, and know that she’s well and all. Somehow, somethings felt different. Shouldn’t i feel glad that i’m seeing her since i havent met her for like 10000 months? ): oh wells, i dont know. anyway, pokxy’s new polaroid camera is cool to the max! Hope all goes well with the delivery and with you ): Food for thought has the coolest food ever. love love love love the brownie cup to the max. (it shall now be my new happy food!)

2. did the “sister-in-law” thing today and brought joanna to the cinema. that poor girl never been to the cinema before in the 9 years of her life! ): went to watch hannah montana. omg can’t believe i actually got persuaded to watch it. haha went in with a “why am i here” feeling. and then, the show made me cry buckets. i think among all of us, i like cried the most? ): cried 3 times in the show. hannah montana leh omg what am i doing. haha so today was officially declared the “bring your sister out day”. (: brought my sis along to watch hannah montana (since she was bugging me to watch it since eons ago), and then martin brought his sis. good job. went for haagan dazs after that. super duper expensive, miserable serving of ice cream, feel good feeling afterwards. it’s funny how ice cream can make you feel happy. still cant get over the fact that i went to watch hannah montana. and that i cried over it. and that i got the songs stuck in my head. (and then i decided to go download them like 5min ago, shoot me). 

HAHA DIE I HAVENT STARTED STUDYING AT ALL. 2 weeks more! ): ): shit been reading so many other people’s blog, everyone’s studying except me. ): DIE DIE DIE DIE. DIEEEEEEEEE.

1. Yiwei’s 18th last saturday!! Chionged the present with jiaqi on friday at the illuma stairwell. omg, we got chased by like how many thousand security guards that day that we had no choice but to hide at the smokers place to do. So glad all went well on sat. Met in the morning to get the balloon and sunflowers, and then rushed off to botanic gardens to scare the birthday girl. The convo we had was so funny. 

Yiwei: “eh im at hougang mall already, where are you?”
Me: “i’m going to bring you on a treasure hunt k. you now take a train to dhob gaught and go to the park mall busstop”
Yiwei: “*screams through the phone* huh where are you!”
Me: “i’m at the end of the treasure hunt la!”
Yiwei: “you sure you are alone ah”
Me: “*looks at jiaqi while buying drink at 7-11* yah i’m alone la, you hurry up come!”

HAHA. omg that poor girl got tricked, luckily her sense of direction not bad. Hope you had a wonderful wonderful day! (: after that we went to do bimbotic bff stuffs together like pedi and getting friendship bands. HAHA so retarded, but i like!

EClub Camp '09 concert

7th Board of Directors + Ms Wong. I will miss you guys many ):

my successor: XUYING! :D (hopefuly i'd be able to differentiate her from her twin soon, later pass the wrong thing to the wrong person ooops.)

Eclub camp: 8th-9th june 09.
Theme: Hollywood. 
So different from last year’s. Still remember chionging the proposal like mad last year, only to find it getting rejected and rejected again and again. And then when the camp finally arrived, people had to leave for competitions, and then the seniors were playing cards and not co-operating at all. And thus, this year we seniors decided to give the next batch a situation as well (shan’t say what), and who knows, the camp was shocking beyond shock. But i applaude them for the effort, and thanks for the buffet! (:

Haha but it wasn’t stayover ): so we decided to stayover at rachel’s instead. omg this whole stayover thing at first had a lot of probs, like should we go to mel’s house, or stay in school, or airport or smth, and a lot of logistics and shit. But ultimately, rach’s house was still the best choice! (sorry kenneth i’d pay you the money for pizza when i see you next time). Played wii for the first time. hahaaa damn fun, stupid justin keep showing off his tennis skills. and mel is acutally damn good at boxing! (taekwondo black belt whoa), and zaizai is super cute x10! (: 

omg i miss them so much already. i miss CHARADES with rachel! (my hao dadang we can telepathy yo). and BULLYING kenneth (but he’s actually a really really nice guy, like the nicest guy i ever know), and playing with BAICHI and helping wanting cut stuffs (that artistic genius omg). and mel! the boxing is making my arms ache. ): until now know! 3 days already! 

had a good breakfast the next day (though we were late but we didn’t care, oops :P) and then going back to school to play some more games and stepdown. ): haha the expression on their faces were priceless. especially when we gave the prelude before the concert officially started, and we said that “if you dont get tapped on the head, it means you are not in the bod. and whether you get tapped or not, you are not supposed to say”, which ultimately, we didnt tap anyone at all la. omg some of them who really wanted the post like super badly, the face turned super black, and i think 1 person went to the toilet and cry. and then, we still mixed up the list and faked out another list, which made things even worse. hahaa (: we are evil. 

it’s weird how one year had just passed like that. how much things have changed since camp 1 year ago. how we first stepped up, and totally not bonded at all. everyone was passionate bout different things, everyone had different ideas, and we just didnt know where to start, so basically we didnt start much at all. and then the “who is doing lesser than who” business came about. basically we were just so not united/bonded. and look at where we are now. im glad we all realised that we have less than a year to make a difference, and we all wanted to do something from eclub. (hello kenneth i bet you dont regret anymore right!). so this year, we grew so much together, and we really really bonded much. and just when things were working out good, it was time to stepdown. ): really hope the next batch can continue the same, and i think in terms of relationships, they’d do a much better job because they are very bonded now already, so that makes working together so much easier! 

in this short 9 months of our term, we’ve managed to: 
1) for the very first time, holding interviews to select people to join eclub
2) for the very first time, conduct an orientation camp to bond the members from the start (and not just a 2h programme)
3) persuaded the management to expand the el-cafe; but in the end, we’ve got approval to OPEN A NEW CAFE (good news cafe!) under LT2 (omg exciting shit) with a $70k grant OMG OMG OMG. 
4) revamp the pushcart for the very first time since it started operations (gave it a new look and cleared all the nests and rubbish inside)
5) for the very first time, invited Uncle Ringo down to hold a carnival that is run by eclub during chinese new year carnival (which included the hamster ball walk on water thing, spinning the wheel thing etc, and that totally made eclub known to the school = meeting our objectives!)
6) Branded EClub with colour theme for different year (ABSOLUT ENTREPRENEUR, now we’ve the blue/white theme, and black/gold one)
7) win the cashflow and csc competition
8) raise $700++ for Singapore Children Society under Projectxoxo
9) Launch our very own ECLUB TRAINING PROGRAMME (:
10) Made our own towels to sell for v-day
11) Get feedback and suggestions and changed eclub internally.
12) Getting many many speakers to come and teach us more about entrepreneurship (on top of the training); and we are now so much closer in contact with the outside world because eclubbers are facils for some entrepreneurship trail thing, and there’s this on-going project with UN and all. (totally meeting our objective of branching out of TJ!)
13) And we’ve proven that eclub can run, cause we got FIRST for 4×100m relay! :D :D :D

yay BODs i’m really proud of you guys! and thanks so much for journeying with me, especially this year. Look at how far we’ve come! (: so glad that now at least we are not thought to be “a slack cca” anymore, and members dont just come in “talk to each other for 45min and then go home”. Really hope the 8th will do a good job! 

On what i’ve learnt in my term, i think the thing that stuck me the most is team dynamics. If your exco is not even bonded, a lot of things cannot be done, because the club would be able to see that. and it really makes us very ineffiecient no matter how hard we try. just look at the list above, how many things on it are actually done this year (when we’ve grown closer)? at least 3/4 of it man. That’s why we focused so much on whether the next comm can work well together, rather than who is more suited for what. As long as there’s this one person who is not on the same bar as you, it’d really make things very very difficult. 

And another thing, is to accept criticism, but only the constructive ones. so many times i got demoralised, because of what people are saying, how they are trying to put my down. how they think that we’re not doing enough and how the whole BOD is going in the wrong direction. I’ve learnt to listen to my heart. Because those people are not even in eclub now, so how would they know what we are doing. I’d rather take the time getting upset over it, to think of other things we can do, and not let it get me down so much. I guess my biggest regret, would be not realising this earlier. ): and then there’s those who say that xxx is doing more work than me, and what have i been doing and all. found it rather unfair because a lot of stuffs is so background that nobody even knows, it’s not even shown to the world. still remember getting pissed over it at one time. so ridiculous that they even have to mention such stuffs, because it’s like hello do i have announce that i’m going to discuss things with the teacher? so many times, people see me as not doing stuff for eclub, and that someone else is doing all the work. but what they’ve failed to realise is that so many things the MD does cannot be seen, it’s so much of communicating with the teacher and all. when our wristband project got into trouble, who was the one who went to talk to the SC,HC etc. I really feel that they’ve no rights to judge this way, but i’ve learnt to take it in my stride. We’d all have to be the target of such talks somehow someday. 

But overall, i won’t know what i’d be without eclub (: cant wait for the ms-wong-sponsored chalet at the end of the year! (: 

3. Met lala today omg. To cut the story short, we walked all the way to the flyer just to eat popeyes, and then all the way to rafflescity to go bra shopping. and then to ann siang hill for books actually and exotic shops! (: OMG ANN SIANG IS MY NEW HIDEOUT. (: can’t believe we spent like 2h+ at booksactually and polymath&crust. shit the books are so awesome if i have all the money in the world i’d buy the whole shop! (sorry i judge a book by its cover). All the covers are so shit pretty, i suspect they choose the books they import into their shop based on how it looks.

And then we went for a lill walk around the area. found many shops selling cool cameras. if i had all the money in the world i’d buy all the cameras too! and then we got tired and decided to eat at the A.R.K cafe! haha we just ordered one scoop of ice cream. the service was awesome. (: for $3, you get a HUGE scoop in a old-school metal ice cream cup (i like!) with a waffle and cherry. love the bailey flavored ice cream (: and then the shop owner decided to.. GIVE US A FREE CAKE. omg he went like, 

shopowner: “hi would you like to try some of our cakes?”
Me: “erm actually we are quite full”
shopowner: “huh how can, why not you just try one, it’s on the house”
Me: “*stares in disbelief and looks at lala* erm, okay! which one?” 
shopowner: “you just choose anyone based on looks and tell me your opinion after that”

OMG the chocolate cake we chose was shit good. felt like i was in heaven. shit good. i really need to go back to ann siang again. pokxy pokxy winks winks! (:

if the shop opens a bit earlier, we could go there with ms tan tmr! ): but sadly it opens at 11.30 ):

cant wait to meet ms tan tmr for brunch at food for thought! omg been wanting to try out that place since forever. (: 

4. What to do, the truth hurts. shouldn’t had been so stupid to trust you in the first place. stupid me.

Very weird how i’m stepping down at the end of camp the next 2 days. and i just took a very clear one last look through the MD file. (last time i saw the file was when i first stepped up, which was 1 year ago).

and FINALLY decided to look through the CD inside. (just realised its passed down from the 0607 batch). HAHA.

and boy, we’ve grown. 
this year we’ve initiated all the things that are in the file & MUCH MORE. (didnt realise until i looked through the file, and then, it was like “huh what were they doing, so slack” came into my head). and then, that’s when you know, you’ve made a difference. 

shall do a post about my term after i’ve officially stepped down. 

off to camp tomorrow and the day after! and wed is filled with make ups ): life sucks take drugs.

Haven’t been blogging for the longest time ever. 

Just feeling no urge to on my mac, because my phone can access the net too! (: and, everytime i on my mac, i see my superly messy desktop, which is sucha huge turn off. And gmail will constantly flood me with work related emails, so techinically, i wont have much time left to do what i wanna do (blog, and find inspirations for my upcoming journal project!) 

OOH did i mention that i wanted to start journaling? right after a’s, i will (: to keep random quotes and pics and my feelings and all. 

May has been a really really tiring month, with eclub elections and all, plus i cant believe i planned 7 birthdays in may! SEVEN omg can you believe it. haha started off quite excited but nearer the end after doing all the presents, i get a little drained. But it’s all worth it to see that 1 second of shock/surprise/happiness on the birthday girl’s face! (: (: 

Yuexi’s birthday was the biggest bang! Photos on facebook, will upload when the time permits (: basically we bought 18 foil star balloons and that poor girl was forced to walk all over suntec with it! and we hid behind this container near glutton’s bay, and surprised her! she was so shocked to see 18 balloons hanging on the fire hydrant and messages written by 18 different people pasted all over the floor. HAHA. and then the security guard came and told us to remove it. OOPS (: aiya go to facebook and see the pics for yourself, very lazy to explain. but that’d probably be the most eventful day in may! 

And so now it’s june, supposed to be the school holidays (bullshit). Make up lessons blah, need to study for common test (haven’t started omg), and 3 more birthdays coming up! die die die. 

Term 2 ended = change of timetable, i really hope next term me and peiyi will have the same breaks again! if not school would be so boringggg ): 

Meanwhile, i’d try to love my mac more, and sort out my desktop ASAP.
