anyway, holy week’s over, and i’m kindda sad. cause i really really like holy week. it’s the time of the year that i most look forward to. wayyyy more than chinese new year, cause what i do for CNY is basically just sit around, eat eat eat and talk and eat eat eat and collect angpows.

basically holy week goes like this:

palm sunday

penitential services around the world – went to st vincent de paul this time round

maundy thursday – went for chrism mass for the first time in my life at st bernadette. was really cool to see like all the priests in singapore, blessing of oils and all. after that was the maundy thurs mass, last supper, transfer of eucharist. went visitation after that, something like what the people in the past used to do, pilgrimage sort of thing. this year no car, no van to fetch me around, so basically just took public transport, and only managed to go to 2 churches, st teresa (so does teresa have H or not?) and st mary’s of the angels. stayed at st mary’s for the office of tenebrae at midnight. but left halfway cause needed to go home.

good friday – fast and abstinence (haha tried to follow but oh well.), went for good friday service this year at olps, can’t believe we were half an hour early, and there’s no place to sit?!?! ): the reproaches was amazingly touching. ):

holy sat – went to nativity for easter vigil. haha long story.

easter sun – went to risen christ for feastday mass. and sizzlers after that (:

felt really strongly for religion this time round. no idea why. gosh, in this week alone i went to like 8 churches. something i really really like about the catholic church is that the order of mass around the world is the same. even if it’s in a diff language, i’d still be able to follow and know what’s happening (that was the case for taiwan, where it was in chinese omg. my chi really sucks now). and that all the sacraments and all hold so much meaning. i don’t get why some christian church out there will actually have an easter musical on good friday. of course we rejoice that he rose from the dead. but if he didn’t die, how do we rejoice?!?! that’s something i really dont get.

and i think faith is not only about following what scripture says, but also bout the sacraments and all. another thing i dont get is that… (ok nevermind too sensitive to be put up here).

sigh. i can never blog properly like this. ):

anyhows, am supposed to be here to blog about relief teaching (which i quitted last month), and my universal studios job (which i quitted last tues), and my very awesome trainer for crescent i&e job (which i started last thurs and getting paid $75 per hour for it).

but as you can see. i’m very lazy. and 1001 people are bugging me to upload photos. my comp is lagging, and everything sucks. guess i’d save the details for some other time!

but anyhows, relief teaching is the most awesome job so far. at least i dont have to stand continuously from 8am to 6pm with only one hour break in between for sucky (but free) lunch food from the rws canteen. and at least i dont have to smile the whole day until my jaw aches, and at least i have my own cubicle so i’d have some peace and privacy to myself. and there’s lesser (irritating) people bugging me to do things. and relief teaching is awesome because i get to watch paris hilton’s my new bff in the office, and i get to hear juicy staffroom gossips. but however, it sucks as well because i have 7 classes to manage (5 sec2 lit classes, 2 sec3 english classes, one of which is a PRC class, which means that the students come and bug me every recess to give them consultation). but then again, my sec 3 classes and one of my sec 2 classes is damn awesome. they are a uber cool bunch of people. despite the staff room having every teacher bitching about them, its actually quite surprising that i dont see that kind of behaviour in my class. hahaa they say my lessons are fun. but that ‘s cause i’m forced to give them a joke of a day every time i see them (according to the class rules which i happily got them to create for themselves at the start of the year, sorry qiwei! p.s qiwei’s the one taking over me now, and they can’t get used to her yet, so she’s very upset, and she’s thinking of fun facts about english to tell them everyday. sorry qiwei!). but then again, i’m also in charged of this sec 1 project work class, and they piss the shit out of me. on the first day i went in, this girl totally pointed a finger in my face, stared at me in the eye and said “i hate you man, i hate you”. like WTH. just because i changed her group. ): and then there was this incident where i walked out of my sec 2 class, cause they did not do their project on time, and still dare to come and argue with me about why i scolded them when some of them were reading story book, doing math hw instead of discussing. but then again, all my kids are a really fun bunch of people. some of them waited in front of the gate for me to step out of school, just to say their “final goodbye” cause they thought they wont see me again (haha i’m going back every thurs to be a trainer and earn big bucks yo). i love relief teaching more x100000 as compared to universal. (although for the latter i get to sneak in and buy things at 15% discount and eat food for 50% discount and play all the rides for free, and sneak people in, and i get to pon work anytime i like). but seriously, the pay sucks and it’s not worth me giving up my health for that .

speaking of health, my shit has blood these days. ): i wonder why. ): and i wonder what other jobs i can do next. it’s either i wait for the unis to call me (and i hope they do cause my results suck, so im kindda hoping my cca records will pull me up, so that i can get into soci, cause soci’s the course that i’ve been wanting to do since like forever. like sec 2 or 3?!?), or i just slack around at home and do nothing and revamp my room and paint my walls and blah, or i go out everyday and meet the people i havent met in years (like peiyi omgg), or i should just go and apply to be a camp instructor on top of my trainer job.

decisions decisions decisions! ):
okay maybe i should do all of the above, cause time is running out and it’s APRIL ALREADY!!!!!! ZZZZZ 4 more months before uni starts (if i even can get in).

can’t wait for hongkong trip in may. exciting much!

Dali Outing, Pulau ubin, weddings, baby’s full moon bash.. meeting up with people and all.. this holiday is crazy. find that maybe, just maybe, i dont have that amount of time i want for myself? to bake, and sit down at starbucks with a book?

and i’m starting work at crescent as a relief teacher soon, on 4th jan. ): and universal studios is opening soon as well. there goes my holiday. D: but regardless of whatever, i shall stop work by march, and maybe continue my holiday for another 5 more months until august. haha. shall see how things go.

wish that maybe i can find some meaning in this holiday.

on the other hand, these two days had been FUN FUN FUN. that’s what holidays should be like. play play play non stop. haha i’m starting to think whether the next few months will actually be like that. spending time with friend after friend after friend. might get a bit empty after a while. but oh well, must enjoy the moment! FUN FUN FUN and lots of love! <3

stayed over at peiyi’s that day with the roomies! (: haha. play wii (raving rabbits!), watch movie, bake (cookies turned out like stones. and super duper black), set up xmas tree, girl talk!, stalk people on fb (HAHA), and sleep like pigs, and more girl talk! love them all!

then met adelicia the next day, shop like mad, went to kope clothes from her cupboard, stay over, dye hair (her hair i mean, didnt have time to do mine), play with cookie the dog! he’s super duper duper cute! omg cannot take it. maybe i should not give birth and have dogs instead.

met stephy today, after so many gazillion years! watched new moon again, talked, spent happy time together though we both were so super tired. (:

i need to look for something more meaningful to do! URGH. (like pack my room, which i’m procrastinating for forever).

DALI outing on 18th!!! (peiyi did you call the rest?) got a call from mingyang just now saying that yangs flew to china and is not coming back for good. EH WTH LA. what about taiwan trip!!! how can you leave us here like that. omg. so weird cause ytd i called him he said he’s coming back. haha i know he’s gonna read this, so ARE YOU COMING BACK OR NOT? ):

2. met up with lala today after 87634928349236 gazillion years. that woman grew prettier!! omg i want her figure. :| and totally had much fun walking around today, complaining about lack of sleep blah. cant wait to see her again.

3. shopping for prom (for guys) is actually not as easy as it seems. haha. especially if the guy is 2m tall and skinny like a stick.

4. applied for ben and jerry’s job today! like finally. although i already gotten a job as a relief teacher at crescent. (i hope the pay’s good so that i’d have excess money to travel!) but then again, ben and jerry’s had always been my dream job! heck the pay, just wanna have fun and the whole experience and all.

7. finished jodi picoult’s the pact at 10.25am today. (: such a sweet story. off to reading malcolm gladwell’s the tipping point! cannot always read fiction mah, will become overly idealistic. haha. specking of which, the tipping point was from i&e’s mama store’s library, which i borrowed (and havent returned) since 3 years ago! ooops.

Just taking this hols one step at a time. So many people to meet, so little time to do what I really hope to finish. haha. like shop. and revamp my wardrobe. (okay I can do that while meeting people). But most importantly, spending time with the few closer ones. (: we totally have to make up for all the lost time!!

Visited cool cafes (15 minutes!!!) over the weeks, met those i’ve havent seen in 3626843268472 years, shopped for prom stuff (though i’m not going for prom), stayed over at pokxy’s and baked for the first time in 7642368472634 years, swam like mad.

i need to lose 20kgs by 19th dec >:[
